Maintenance Engineer

Position: Maintenance Engineer (Permanent)
Due to continued growth, a well-established and specialist manufacturer supplying parts to major OEMs is looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen its engineering team.

Location:

Motherwell area
Salary: £47,% employer pension contribution

Shift: Day shift (no nights)

Working as part of a team of skilled Maintenance Engineers and alongside key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in ensuring plant reliability and performance. You will deliver effective planned and reactive maintenance, helping the site achieve its production and operational KPIs.

As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

Responding to and resolving machine breakdowns efficiently
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
Managing spares, ensuring critical parts are available and ordered as required
Conducting root cause analysis to eliminate recurring faults
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and costs

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will:

Proven experience maintaining production or manufacturing machinery
Strong electrical and mechanical skills (electrical bias preferred)
Experience working with hydraulics and/or pneumatics
A time-served background and/or relevant engineering maintenance qualifications
