Overview

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking an experienced manager to join a dynamic team to lead and manage the effective strategic and operational interface with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture. The post holder will lead a range of activities including developing and delivering a number of exciting transformational projects as well as seeking external funding opportunities.

Location and Terms

Location:

Council Headquarters, Hamilton

Hours:

35 hours per week, Permanent

Work Pattern:
Monday - Friday

Salary: £65,148 - £77,989 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the strategic and operational interface with South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.
  • Develop and deliver transformational projects and seek external funding opportunities.
  • Support and coordinate partnership working, with an emphasis on delivering change within a public sector setting.
  • Answer questions as part of the application submission and upload required supporting documents.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience of managing change within a public sector organisation.
  • Strategic thinking with an eye for detail.
  • Experience delivering physical projects and leading strategic or policy work.
