As a Teaching Assistant / Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and students across various schools in Bury St Edmunds, providing support both academically and through sports-based activities. Your role will be to encourage student engagement, promote physical well‑being, and help create a positive learning environment.

• Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and student supervision.
• Assisting students with their learning, particularly in PE and sports‑related activities.
• Organizing and coaching sports sessions and extracurricular activities.
• Encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among students.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
• Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

• Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred).
• A passion for sports and physical education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and age groups.
• Relevant sports coaching qualifications or experience are desirable.
