Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role based in Hamilton for a Quantity Surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, managing project budgets, and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle. Key tasks include evaluating tenders, drafting contracts, preparing reports, and advising on potential financial risks. Collaboration with clients, contractors, and project teams is crucial to ensure cost-effective and timely project completion.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for evaluating tenders and project drawings
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of building regulations, contracts, and financial regulations
  • Experience working on construction or built environment projects
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Professional membership in RICS or equivalent is advantageous
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines effectively
