• Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with care and quality to achieve timely delivery to customers.
• Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantities, and correct product codes.
• Ensure picked products are of the highest quality (no damaged products, fresh product selection, etc.).
• Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation including pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.
• Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
• Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and provide service, including supporting issues to resolution.
• Adhere to strict safety and food hygiene standards, maintain a clean and hygienic work area, promptly clean spills and debris, ensure totes are clean and debris-free before packing; operate material handling equipment safely and complete all safety pre-inspection checks before use; demonstrate behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity standards and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility in completing/adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules.
