Position Summary

• Manage the serving of meals and beverages to guests, including handling alcohol sales and verifying age.

• Use the POS system to record orders and relay them to the kitchen.

• Respond to guest requests, compute and present checks, accept payments, and maintain tableware and linens.

• Supervise banquet set‑up, maintain sanitation and safety standards, and ensure equipment is clean and operational.

• Enforce OVG policies, manage employee relations, and assist with training, inventory, and special events.

• Must maintain excellent attendance and be available for scheduled events.

Salary & Benefits
Hourly rate: $22.00–$28.00 CAD.
Benefits for part‑time: 401(k) Savings Plan with matching contribution.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in a fast‑paced restaurant or catering environment, or equivalent education.

• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Valid food handling certificate and provincial Smart Serve certification.

• Proficient in basic math for POS transactions.

• Ability to work in an event‑driven environment and to maintain excellent attendance.
