The Back of House Lead supports the success of game day food service operations by leading kitchen activities within a stadium concession stand. This role acts as a leader among back of house team members, providing hands‑on guidance and coordinating food preparation during high-volume service. The Back of House Lead helps ensure food is prepared safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Sodexo Live!

- Lead the back of house team during service and act as a go‑to support for kitchen staff
- Coordinate kitchen workflow to ensure food is prepared efficiently, consistently, and on time during high‑volume service
- Monitor food quality, portioning, and temperature to meet established Sodexo Live! standards
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and Occupational Health and Safety standards are followed and modeled by the team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment throughout the event
- Communicate and collaborate with front of house team members to support smooth concession operations
- Address minor operational issues in real time and elevate concerns to management when required
- Maintain overall condition and readiness of the concession stand
- Follow and promote Sodexo Live! food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, or equipment concerns
- Support a culture of safety through education, teamwork, and leading by example
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment
- Previous supervisory or informal leadership experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume event environment
- Clear and respectful communicator who remains calm under pressure
- Part‑time, seasonal, event‑based position from March to November (potential opportunity to start earlier)
- Shifts centered around stadium game day operations and select events
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule
- Fast‑paced kitchen environment
- Standing and physical activity required for the duration of shifts
- Exposure to heat, noise, and peak service periods
