Horticulturist sought to manage and maintain gardens and grounds at a flagship site in Hamilton. The role also involves customer communication and daily record-keeping of job metrics.

• Manage garden/tree/shrub/turf maintenance
• Efficiently plan and execute horticultural tasks, including planting, treatment, pruning, and care
• Handle and transport nursery stock, manage soil and sod tasks and fertilize
• Assist in turf maintenance if required, track job metrics, and ensure safety compliance
• Adhere to all company and local regulations
• Engage courteously with customers and staff at facility

• Completed college or vocational training with Horticulturist or Landscape Gardener Certification
• 3-5 years’ experience
• Proficient in plant identification, especially trees and shrubs
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Physically fit with stamina; must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Skilled in measurement, safety, detail-oriented tasks, problem-solving, and communication
• Requires working near heavy machinery, outdoors in varying conditions, and flexible hours, including weekends
• Proficient in English
