Job SummaryHorticulturist sought to manage and maintain gardens and grounds at a flagship site in Hamilton. The role also involves customer communication and daily record-keeping of job metrics.
Responsibilities- Efficiently plan and execute horticultural tasks, including planting, treatment, pruning, and care
- Handle and transport nursery stock, manage soil and sod tasks and fertilize
- Assist in turf maintenance if required, track job metrics, and ensure safety compliance
- Adhere to all company and local regulations
- Engage courteously with customers and staff at facility
- Completed college or vocational training with Horticulturist or Landscape Gardener Certification
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Proficient in plant identification, especially trees and shrubs
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Physically fit with stamina; must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Skilled in measurement, safety, detail-oriented tasks, problem-solving, and communication
- Requires working near heavy machinery, outdoors in varying conditions, and flexible hours, including weekends

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
