Forklift​/Loader Operator Heavy Lifting Labour

We are looking for a reliable Forklift / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our clients team. This full-time temp to hire position that focuses on general labour (90%) with some forklift operation (10%).

The job involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires physical strength and equipment experience.

Location:

Waterdown, ON

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay: $24/hour (weekly pay every Friday, with 4% vacation pay added)

Responsibilities:
– Operate forklifts and front-end loaders.
– Perform plant cleaning (sweeping and shoveling).
– Maintain and inspect equipment daily.
– Report any issues with equipment and follow repair procedures.
– Monitor production quality and record information.

Requirements:
– Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
– Experience in production or manufacturing.
– Valid forklift license and experience with forklifts, loaders, or scissor lifts (preferred).
– Strong communication and basic math skills.
– Must be bondable.
– Must have your own vehicle to get to and from work
