What You Bring to the Team:
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
- 1-5 years of experience in assessing and treating neurological (mTBI) and mental health conditions.
- Experience in Occupational, OWN or WSIB, Veterans Rehabilitation, and Mental Health is a significant asset.
- Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
- Excellent oral, written, and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency with computers and new technology.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Must have own vehicle and a valid Driver's license is required.
Your Day-to-Day:
- A diverse caseload with assessment by WSIB with complex musculoskeletal, TBI, and mental health challenges.
- Flexibility to work virtually for documentation, with the ability to structure your schedule to meet your needs and the needs of your clientele.
- Creating and implementing holistic, individualized treatment plans based on critical analysis and clinical reasoning.
- Managing caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment.
- Participating in case conferences and case management.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and various stakeholders.
