- Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living: personal hygiene (bathroom/bedpan, bathing, oral care, shaving, skin, hair), ambulation/ transfers, eating, dressing, preparing meals and snacks, accompanying patient on errands or medical appointments.
- Perform housekeeping activities: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning bathroom.
- Perform patient‑specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse: medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range‑of‑motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, incontinence care.
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Three years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (homes or facilities).
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
- Clear criminal background check and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without restrictions.
