Parts Counter Person

Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Counter Person to join our team in Hamilton! The Parts Counter Person plays a vital role in customer service at our Branch as the key customer contact for advising and distributing parts and consistently providing superior service.

• Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times,in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
• Enhance our customer's experience and commitment to brand loyaltyby providing product expertise, relevant parts recommendations and regular communication of current and upcoming parts promotions
• Manage parts inquiries and correspondence effectivelyover the parts counter, throughemail and byphone in a timely and courteous manner
• Managethe daily functions of the parts operation, including sourcing, procuring andordering parts, following up onbackorders and credits, conducting inventory counts, processing cores and warrantiesas well as building hydraulic hoses for both internal and external customers
• Provide on call service as required, at times on weekends and evenings

• Minimum post-secondary education
• 3+ years of experience in a parts service role
