Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hamilton, ON, for a Front Desk/Reception representative at Centre[3]. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing essential administrative support. The role also involves maintaining a welcoming and professional environment, as well as promoting Centre[3] programming and events to the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and manage front desk inquiries
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally
- Provide administrative and scheduling support
- Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area
- Maintain and update the Centre[3] calendar, including events and bookings
- Support event coordination and on-site logistics
- Assist with internal communication and information flow
- Support social media communication and coordination
- Capture basic photo and video content for social media (events, activities, behind-the-scenes)
Qualifications
- Strong phone etiquette and proficiency in receptionist duties, including scheduling and managing communications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with the public effectively
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including experience with office software and scheduling tools
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic environment
- A passion for the arts and an understanding of the principles of community engagement and social practice are assets
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
