The RoleThe Medical Assistant supports clinical operations by ensuring that every patient encounter is executed with precision, care, and efficiency — bridging the gap between patient experience and clinical quality. The MA owns the quality of pre‑visit readiness, encounter flow, documentation accuracy, and post‑visit follow‑through.
What You’ll Do- Prepare rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient visits.
- Greet and room patients; record vitals and histories accurately in the EHR.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures.
- Collect and process specimens; handle vaccines and medications per protocol.
- Maintain stock, organize supplies, and ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Keep documentation accurate and complete before each visit is closed.
- Support smooth patient flow and communicate delays or issues quickly.
- Coordinate with front desk and providers to ensure a seamless visit.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy standards.
- Contribute to a calm, professional, and team‑oriented environment.
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or clinical setting.
- Proven skill with EHR documentation and maintaining accuracy in fast‑paced environments.
- Confidence supporting providers during exams, procedures, and patient interactions.
- Calm under pressure, focused on patient care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; you anticipate needs and keep things moving.
- Reliability and accountability.
- Curiosity to improve processes and make each day run smoother.
- Active MA certification or equivalent clinical training required.
