Job Title: Senior PLM Engineer
Job Duties:
- Design and validate high-speed bulk wire products for high performance
- Provide technical leadership in product design configurations, validating product specifications and improving product development processes
- Utilize Solid Works and other design tools to create detailed drawings and schematics for testing and product needs
- Design workflow structure for controlling product specifications
- Create and manage distribution plan architecture for CAD and other BOM documents
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams during all phases of product design, simulation, prototyping, validation, and production implementation
- Develop and maintain documentation related to product development, including design changes, specifications, and compliance standards
- Support the implementation of PLM software tools and systems, providing training and support to team members
Requirements: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of work experience in the job offered or related field of Mechanical Engineering or Development Engineering.
Special Skills or Other Requirements:
- 2 years of experience with PLM in the interconnect industry
- 3 years of experience with CAD - Solid Works or equivalent
- 2 years experience with FEA software
- 3 years of experience with PLM software- PTC Windchill
- 2 years experience in product lifecycle management, particularly in electrical wire design or related industries
- 3 years experience with new product development and introduction to volume manufacturing
