in the position of
Import Operations Coordinator
.

This position plays a critical role in managing of “Destination Control Tower” activities,building and maintaining good operational relationships with end customers who entrust us with their supply chain management.

• Management of “Destination Control Tower” activities
• Release of containers from the carrier or receiving agent including return of empty containers
• Coordination and arrangement of delivery dates with the customer DC and its partners
• Arrangement of national and international last mile transportation with hauliers including T1 creation
• Arrangement of customs clearance with brokers
• Coordination and arrangement of physical inspections with local authorities
• Monitoring and control of all containers including event data tracking

• 3-5 years’ working experience preferably in freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, foreign trade
• Familiar with customs processes in the EU (high-level)
• Good communication and diplomatic skills
• Customer service mentality
• German language (native and/or C-level), good (or even) very good English skills
• Nice to have - experience with operational systems, freight management systems, Dakosy/dbh, IMP platform, German Ports, etc.
