LSI is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to run and set up CNC mills and/or lathes. This role is for someone who can work independently, perform setups with minimal assistance, and hold tolerances using strong inspection practices. No CAM programming required (minor at-the-machine edits may be needed).
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts.
- Tool changes, offsets, and first-piece verification.
- Inspect parts to print using precision measuring tools; work with Quality as needed.
- Troubleshoot and adjust processes to correct issues and maintain consistency.
- Routine machine maintenance and clean/safe work practices.
- 3–5+ years CNC machining experience.
- Setup-capable with minimal assistance (tooling, offsets, basic fixturing/work holding).
- Blueprint reading and ability to hold tolerances; strong attention to detail.
- Able to work onsite in Ham Lake, MN; occasional overtime.
