The Bug Company is a leader in the pet industry, specializing in the safe shipping of live insects for reptile and exotic pet owners nationwide. We are looking for reliable, detail‑oriented team members who enjoy active, hands‑on work in a shipping setting.

The Shipping Assembly Specialist is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping live insect orders. This role involves handling live insects, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining efficient shipping operations.

• Handle, assemble, and pack insects for shipping
• Accurately assemble and package live insect orders
• Label shipments with correct information
• Safely load and unload trucks
• Monitor and report shipping or inventory issues
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Operate basic warehouse equipment (training provided)
• Meet daily shipping targets with the team
• Ability to use a tape gun
• Ensure the care of all live insects

Required:

• Ability to handle live insects
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Basic math skills (counting to 100+, labeling, measuring)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and willing to learn

Preferred:

• Prior warehouse, assembly, or shipping experience

• Sunday – Thursday
• 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (hours may vary based on shipping volume and company needs)
