This is a full-time on-site / roaming role for a Fire Alarm Engineer, working regionally and nationally. The role involves designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

Job Description
The Engineer will have a wide-ranging remit covering all disciplines that will include installation and remedial works. The Engineer will also provide technical & engineering assistance to the Project Manager to ensure the smooth running of the systems department. The Engineer will achieve this by completing their duties to the required standard and following all policies & procedures that are in place.
All work that is produced is to be at a standard that consists of clarity, consistency and accuracy.
A summary of broad responsibilities are listed below;
- Installation & Remedial works of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and
Fire Alarms - Maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and
Fire Alarms - Commissioning of Installations
- General Electrical Installation & Testing
- Monitoring Setup and test with ARC’s
- Call Outs for any of the above systems
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Take Calls from office and customers

- Experience of ensuring high quality service to a variety of clients
- Have appropriate and current electrical certification ideally up to AM2 Standard
- Have appropriate and current knowledge of one or more Fire & Security disciplines
- Build a good, ongoing working knowledge of Valley Fire & Security Ltd’s policies and procedures
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, email and other associated computing systems
Industry ExperienceIndustry experience is desirable but not essential. However the willingness to learn about the fire and security industry and gain a good working knowledge is expected
Communication Skills- High level of accuracy (literacy & numeracy)
