Bench Joiner

A Bench Joiner is required to join an established family run business on a permanent basis. A company dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and innovative joinery solutions for their clients. Full training can and will be provided for motivated individuals who show the right aptitude.

We are keen to speak with bench hand joiners at all stages of their careers. Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced carpenter with the skills to craft high-end products, we would love to hear from you.

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Manufacture bespoke joinery items for in store and exhibition displays
• Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Assemble and fit components to precise measurements and quality standards.
• Sanding, finishing, and preparing wood surfaces as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.

• Proven experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop environment is essential.
• Ability to read and work from detailed drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.
• NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Joinery (preferred but not essential).

• Starting hourly rate between £15 and £18 per hour dependant on experience.
• 40hrs per week Mon-Friday 8am-4.30pm with 30min lunch and 2no 15min breaks morning/afternoon.
