This is a fantastic opportunity to join a secure, long-established business that provides ongoing training, excellent working conditions, and the chance to build a lasting career.

Our client plays a vital role in the food and agricultural industries by collecting and processing materials that are converted into high-quality meals and oils. These are used across multiple sectors including pet food, cosmetics, oleochemicals, sustainable aviation fuel and other biofuels. By doing so, they actively support a circular bioeconomy - reusing, recovering, and recycling resources that would otherwise go to waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare ingredients in line with production schedules and specifications
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently
  • Monitor products for quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety standards
  • Package finished products, apply correct labels and prepare for storage or dispatch
  • Follow strict health & safety, quality, and hygiene procedures, including correct use of PPE
  • Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean, sanitised, and well-organised
  • Report any production issues, downtime, or equipment problems to supervisors
  • Support wider site operations where required to ensure smooth production flow

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing ideal but not essential (full training provided)
  • Able to commit to a 12-hour shift pattern (6am-6pm, any 4 days over 7, including weekends)
  • Physically fit due to heavy lifting and manual handling being part of the role
  • Willingness to work with raw meat and in environments with strong odours
  • Comfortable working in cold or low-temperature conditions
  • Flexibility as some rota shifts will fall on weekends
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Must be able to wear PPE at all times while on site (all PPE will be provided by the client)

What's on Offer

  • Competitive hourly rates and stable weekly hours (48 hours per week)
  • Fixed shift rota offering regular work-life balance
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Full training and opportunities for career progression
  • Long-term, secure employment with a supportive team environment

If you are hardworking and motivated, with a desire for stable and long-term work in production, we would love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV to join this growing team.
