JOB TITLE: Loans Assistant Product Manager

SALARY: The salary banding is £40,824 - £45,360

LOCATION: Chester, Halifax, Leeds, Manchester & Newport/Cardiff

HOURS: 35 hours, full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

We’re looking for an Assistant Product Manager to join our team and support this exciting agenda. You’ll be a natural collaborator, working across the loans team and other experts across the bank to deliver incremental growth across our product and journeys.

What will I be doing?
  • Working as part of a team of specialists to seek out and solve problems that drive value and enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead and facilitate the implementation of change initiatives, collaborating with product owners, commercial partners and broader collaborators including risk, legal, CCor and Credit risk.
  • Immerse yourself in loans end to end customer journeys, finding opportunities to build longer term customer relationships across multiple channels, customer segments and life stages.
  • Building compelling stories to bring customers on a change journey
  • Ensure all change is effectively monitored and performance and impacts understood, whilst managing risk effectively with appropriate team members, governance, and controls

What you’ll need
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to make purposeful relationships with your team members and partners
  • Previous experience of managing initiatives and change from inception to delivery.
  • A keen interest in building your product experience, learning from a team of skilled and experienced Product managers.
  • Can create simplicity from complexity. We need to be able to articulate our product ‘stories’ and goals clearly and concisely to our customers to gain advocacy and / or approvals.
  • Be a self
    -starter with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload, whilst balancing multiple deliverables.
  • An analytical attitude, comfortable collaborating with analytics teams to generate insights to develop propositions and monitor success metrics.
  • Curious by nature and have the tenacity to take on a challenging and varied workload.
