The postholder will work as a Healthcare Scientist (Cardiology) in Cardiac Rhythm Management, Angiography and PCI. This is a fixed term contract that will follow a 24‑month training program dependent on experience and application. Upon completion / during the postholder will be eligible to apply for a permanent invasive post at the trust as they arise over the 24‑month period and post completion.

• To work towards independently in the cardiac catheter lab undertaking the physiologist role during coronary angiography and angioplasty (PCI).
• To work towards independently implanting and programming cardiac devices including pacemakers, loop recorders, ICD, and CRT devices.
• To work towards being independent in face‑face and remote follow‑up clinics for the above.
• To achieve BHRS accreditation within 24 months of commencing the post.
• Participates in the on‑call rota for Invasive Cardiology once competent.
