The purpose of this role is to lead the effective use of data and digital systems within North points Children & Young Peoples Services to understand, evidence and communicate our impact. The post holder will work collaboratively with service managers and Data & Impact colleagues to ensure data is not only accurate and timely, but used to tell a clear story about need, change, outcomes and value for children, young people and families.
The Data & Impact Lead will move the service beyond reporting volumes and activity, towards insight led analysis that supports learning, improvement, accountability and strategic decision making. Main duties of the jobThe main areas of the job are to:
Champion a data-driven culture across the service and organization, promoting the use of data in decision-making and evidencing impact at all levels.
Produce monitoring reports aligned with service requirements and KPIs.
Provide performance and outcome data to assist service managers in improving client experience and service delivery.
Support the effective use of electronic systems, particularly telephony systems, the Aire Blocks suite, Silver Cloud and the IAPTus patient record system.
Support managers to ensure data driven decisions informing service planning and development are guided by robust impact data analysis
About usNorthpoint is a BACP-accredited service operating Service Centres for single point of access (SPA) and central point of contact (CPOC) services in West Yorkshire. Our Service Centres facilitate referrals and requests for support related to mental health and emotional well‑being and ASD/ADHD requests for assessment. Our model is digitally enabled to provide an efficient and informed service user experience, connecting people to the right local resources and support, at the right time, in line with their individual goals.
In addition to our Service Centres, Northpoint provides school‑based support and therapeutic interventions and operates as the lead provider in select local mental health partnerships in collaboration with Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and NHS Trusts.

We have a unique opportunity for a Data & Impact Lead to join Northpoint, based in Calderdale working across Children & Young People’s Services to lead the effective use of data and digital systems to understand, evidence and communicate our impact. This is a permanent, full‑time position (35 hours per week), offering a competitive salary of £34,920 to £41,150, plus employer pension contribution.
