Group Finance Manager (Trinity Academy Halifax / Bradford)

37 hours per week, All Year Round

The trust currently comprises of 11 academies, including secondary, primary and further education. We are also home to Trinity Institute of Education and West Yorkshire Maths Hub and have strong plans for further growth.

Our finance teams play a pivotal role across our academies, and due to internal changes,we are seeking a Group Finance Manager to support two of our largest academies across the west of our region –
Trinity Academy Halifax
, our founding school and Trinity Academy Bradford who joined the trust in 2021.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage all finance related matters including payroll, budgeting and banking matters, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information.
  • Communicate and present financial information to a range of leadership and management audiences.
  • Provide leadership and support to the finance teams, ensuring work of the highest quality.
  • Ensure all aspects of the academy’s financial management processes are delivered and developed to a high standard.
  • Provide guidance and advice to leaders and management on all financial matters.

The role will require regular travel to each of the designated academy sites to ensure the effective flow of information and to provide appropriate support to local finance teams.

What are we looking for?

  • Full or part accountancy qualification.
  • Experience of using accounting and finance software.
  • Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines.
