Overview
We're looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join our dynamic Commercial and Bid Writing Team. This is a critical role where your words will help shape the future of our business. You'll be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing high-quality tender responses, and building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing- Crafting persuasive, client-focused content for complex bids and proposals.
- Identifying and summarising tender opportunities across the DDH Group's products and services.
- Coordinating with internal departments to gather and prepare submission materials.
- Supporting tender evaluation days and post‑award handovers.
- Building relationships with procurement teams and contributing to bid strategy.
- Ensuring compliance with submission instructions and internal processes.
- Maintaining and improving the bid library with sector‑specific content.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in bid writing.
- Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills.
- A collaborative, assertive, and results‑driven mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- IT literacy, especially in Microsoft Office Suite.
- GCSE/O Level or NVQ equivalent with a good standard of written English.
- NHS procurement processes/frameworks
- Commercial environments or research projects
