Buyer - Raw Materials

• Managing material requirements planning (MRP)
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value and performance
• Running supplier reviews and drafting supplier contracts
• Sourcing and onboarding new suppliers
• Authorising invoices and ensuring cost targets are achieved
• Building strong, lasting supplier relationships

• Proven experience purchasing raw materials (foam, plastics, upholstery preferred)
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Able to work in a fast‑paced, pressurised environment while maintaining accuracy
• Someone who thrives with autonomy and takes ownership of results

Salary up to £32,000

Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire (fully office‑based)

Weekly travel to Staffordshire site (pool car provided) so own driving licence required

Hours:

Mon‑Fri, 8:00‑4:30 (occasional flexibility needed)
