Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a wonderful growing Manufacturing organisation. The role has become available due to the current Company Accountant going into retirement. You will be working within a close knit team and the potential succession plan to take over from the Finance Director.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and manufacturing cost accounting
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Accurately maintain general ledger records and ensure timely posting of all transactions
• Prepare budgets and forecasts and monitor performance against them
• Produce variance analysis with clear explanations and recommendations
• Track inventory valuation, including WIP, raw materials, and finished goods
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Prepare VAT returns and liaise with HMRC as required
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and external audits
• Maintain robust financial controls and documentation
• Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE
• Experience in Manufacturing Accounting
• Experience with Cost Accounting and Management Accounting
• Exceptional Attention to detail
• Team Player

• Salary of £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
