We are currently seeking a  Software Development Engineer in Test w Java/JS – On-Site  to join our team in  Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA) .

SDET (software developer engineer in Test)  and must know basic coding on Java or java script.

This role located on-site at our Application Development Centre in Halifax.

Key Responsibilities

5yrs Designed, developed, and maintained automated test frameworks using Codecept

JS with Type Script

Built and executed end-to-end automated tests for UI and API workflows using Type Script (codecept) Selenium/Java is also fine

Converted manual test cases into reusable, maintainable automation scripts

Performed functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing

3+ yrs Conducted API testing including validation of response codes and payloads

Logged, tracked, and verified defects; collaborated closely with developers and product owners

Integrated automated test suites with Cloud Bees/Jenkins CI pipelines

Analyzed test execution reports and addressed automation failures and flaky tests

Skills & Tools Required

Test Automation:

JS, UI & API automation (selenium/Java also is fine)

Languages:

Type Script, Java

CI/CD:
Jenkins

Version Control:
Git

Tools & Process: JIRA, Agile/Scrum, SDLC/STLC
