Maintenance Associate; Live-Out

Position: Maintenance Associate (Live-Out)
Job Summary
Hazelview Properties is hiring a Regional Maintenance Associate to support multi‑unit apartment complexes. The role handles resident repair requests, preventive maintenance, emergency response, contractor coordination, and purchase order creation in Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently respond to resident repair requests.

• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on building systems and equipment, as well as maintain apartment units and grounds.

• Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns.

• Obtain quotes, communicate with contractors, schedule and inspect jobs, and provide training for new maintenance staff.

• Create purchase orders in Yardi.

Qualifications

Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

2–3 years of maintenance or related experience.

Flexibility to work on‑call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends).

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and painting.

Proficient with basic handheld and electrical tools.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently; supportive of office duties;
Microsoft Office proficiency required.

Passion for providing exceptional client service.

Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset.
