Truck and Transport Mechanic

Our client, an industry leader in heavy equipment and transportation services, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join their team. As a Truck and Transport Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the maintenance and repair department, supporting a team committed to excellence and safety. Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

Pay Range: Depends on Experience

Shift: Afternoon shift

What's the Job?

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose electromechanical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.

What's Needed?

• Valid Red Seal Mechanic certification or equivalent licensing.
• Experience with heavy equipment and truck/trailer mechanical repair.
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
