Woodworker

Woodworker help to make and assemble non-standard furniture.

Methodical, self-starter who enjoys working with tools and machinery. Ability to work under pressure while promoting teamwork. Open to change. Ability to distinguish colors.

• Study plans, specifications or drawings of items to be manufactured or prepare specifications;
• Prepare non-standard parts and orders;
• Assemble parts and partial assemblies to form a piece of furniture using glue and clamps, and reinforce joints with nails, screws, or other fasteners;
• Sand wood or melamine surfaces;
• Use digital carriage saws occasionally;
• All other tasks directly related to employment.

• Minimum DES or equivalent (asset);
• Knowledge in the field of cabinetry or furniture;
• Knowledge of factory work;
• Job requires lifting and handling weights up to 50 pounds;
