SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for a variety of litigation files assigned by the responsible lawyers in insurance defense and commercial litigation.
Draft pleadings, affidavits, motions, conference briefs, and other documents as required.
Ability to work on a variety of litigation matters and gain courtroom exposure including attendance at motions, examinations and other court hearings.
Opportunity to learn and grow within a diverse litigation group.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Three + years of relevant work experience;
Strong analytical, research, writing, negotiation, communication and drafting skills;
Self-motivated and can work independently but also values working collaboratively;
Proven effective litigation, client and practice management skills; and
Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset is an asset.
