We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organisation’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
About the Role:
Axiom Technologies is seeking an experienced Network Engineer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to work as an independent contractor (freelancer). The role involves providing onsite technical support for hardware, software, and networking environments.

Network device installation, replacement, and troubleshootingRack & stack of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, APs)Cable patching, labeling, and basic cable managementHands & feet support for remote network teamsSite readiness checks and basic validationFollow client SOPs and safety guidelinesMandatory Requirement – Tools
Candidates must carry their own tools

Proven experience as a Network Engineer / Field Network TechnicianStrong understanding of LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and basic firewall conceptsAbility to respond to dispatch requests during standard business hoursReliable transportation to reach client sitesProfessional communication and reporting skillsCompensation
