You will work directly with leaders who believe in celebrating successes and sharing learnings with other teams to promote this role, you will be responsible for effective planning, executing, automating and tracking functional tests In the ARCHER portfolio - maintenance releases or projects.
** Please note this position is based in Bedford, Halifax, Nova Scotia.**
What will you do?
Create test plans, test cases and test scripts based on requirement documents and business User Stories
Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools
Execute test cases (manual/automated) document test results and raise defects whenever necessary.
Work with JIRA, Confluence, qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions
Participate in agile ceremonies like, Sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings
Participate E2E and integration testing
Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings
Must-have
2+ years of experience in a QA/test environment with a focus on technical, automated testing in a variety of environments (functional, business workflows, APIs, databases).
In depth experience in Python programming languages (
Python
.)
Experience with test automation frameworks/programming language e.g., (Pytest Framework, Python API , Selenium, Data frame)
Good knowledge of QE Processes, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC and Defect Management processes for application testing, development and support with hands-on experience in creating test cases, executing manual/automated test cases
Knowledge of Testing Methodologies with hands on experience on JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge of CI/CD and Dev Ops Tools such as GIT, Git on Action
Database technologies (e.g. SQL, Postgres) and SQL experience.
Archer
Ansible experience
Previous experience in the areas of Governance , Risk and Compliance
