Your role :
Global Relay delivers enterprise services to 23,000 customers in 90 countries, including 22 of the top 25 global banks. Technical Product Managers (TPMs) are part of the Product Management team that is responsible for executing product strategy, prioritizing and aligning roadmaps, and for researching and defining enhancements and upgrades to Global Relay services.

Reporting to a Group Product Manager, TPMs in Platform Services are responsible for delivering the product roadmap driving new products and features through the development process. Our Platform Services group is responsible for the ingestion of hundreds of millions of messages every day from our clients, while maintaining our promise to deliver secure, resilient, and highly available services. You will work closely with a pod of developers, primarily located in Halifax, as you define and deliver projects and initiatives.

Starting from initial analysis and documenting requirements, you will bring clarity and visibility through development and release processes, and into post‑release. You will lead daily stand‑ups and other agile ceremonies, groom the backlog, plan sprints, accept completed stories, while monitoring and reporting status.

Working with our new Processing Pod, you will be responsible for modernizing how Global Relay handles Data In Transit during its life at Global Relay. The Processing Pod will work with multiple other teams, both inside and out of the Platform Services Group, to ensure that we scale, and improve how hundreds of millions of messages, and terabytes of data move through Global Relay every day.

To achieve this, you will collaborate with other Product Managers, Architects, Development Pods and Stakeholders across Global Relay's offices worldwide ensuring the delivery of complete solutions spanning across multiple teams and product lines.

Your responsibilities:
Working in a dynamic team environment, the TPM is responsible for:

Serve as the primary product expert (functional, not technical) for the components for which you are responsible

Analyze problems, documenting requirements, and building consensus on those product requirements among stakeholders across the business

Collaborating with senior product management, sales, support, clients, and other TPMs to produce and manage their component’s backlog and contribute to the product roadmap

Owning the end‑to‑end responsibility for the delivery of their component / feature for within the Platform Services group

Translating product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into requirements, models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artifacts

Triaging incoming tickets and assigning them to the correct owner

Following up on status of projects, stories, tasks, dependencies and risks

Addressing impediments byworking with appropriate stakeholders

Assisting with the generation of reports, Wiki pages, and other artifacts that provide transparency into project status

Creating work estimates, tracking progress, and reporting status in the form of burn up/down charts and dashboards
