Hours:

40 hours per week, with overtime and evening/weekend work as required.

• Maintenance and installation of all broadcast equipment and IT systems, including but not limited to:
• Non-linear editing/playout systems
• Ross Overdrive and broadcast automation systems
• Video cameras, production switchers, routing systems, etc.
• Broadcast RF Transmission including UHF and VHF systems
• Graphic creation systems and related applications
• Electronic News Gathering equipment, Atlas Kit, Dejero, cameras and accessories
• Project management covering point of contact, design, procurement, and commissioning
• Travel to remote sites as needed
• Flexibility with schedule to respond to emergency repair needs
• Design, installation, and maintenance of IT and production IT systems in studio and transmitter broadcast facilities (servers, PCs, laptops, cloud services, WAN, LAN)
• End user setup and support for IT systems
• IP-based program delivery systems
• General building repairs and maintenance
• Managing HVAC and electrical systems
• Assist with winter snow removal
• Other duties as assigned

• Electronics Technician or IT/Computer Engineering diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, preferably specializing in Broadcast Technology.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in TV broadcast maintenance and IT systems support.
• Must understand all broadcast and production workflows.
• Ability to handle pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong working knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Excellent work follow-up and organization skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• May be required to work in restricted or close quarters.
• Ability and willingness to work outside in all climates.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
