Part-Time Social Media Strategist & Content Writer

So Good Digital is a Halifax-based B2B marketing agency working with innovative companies in industries like clean tech, SaaS, energy/submetering, and enterprise services. We help thought leaders and growing brands stand out through content marketing, SEO, paid ads, and PR.

We’re looking for a part-time social media strategist + quippy writer to join our team. While this is primarily a remote role, preference will be given to professionals based in Halifax who can occasionally work in-office with us at 1800 Argyle Street
.

• Build and manage social media calendars across Linked In, X, and other channels as needed.
• Write compelling, platform-native copy that brings technical and B2B topics to life.
• Collaborate with our designers and writers to develop engaging social assets.
• Manage scheduling tools (Buffer, Hub Spot, etc.) and keep content flowing.
• Track analytics, report on performance, and pivot strategy when needed.
• Plan and support paid social campaigns—writing ad copy, identifying audiences, and reviewing results.
• Understand how social integrates with other digital channels; familiarity with Google Ads is an asset, but you won’t be running strict conversion campaigns.
• Support larger content marketing, PR, and paid ad initiatives by amplifying them through social.

• Strong writer with experience crafting social content for B2B brands.
• Strategic thinker who understands how to engage audiences and connect social activity to broader marketing goals.
• Experience with Linked In is essential; other platforms are a plus.
• Ability to analyze results and suggest improvements.
• Familiarity with paid social campaigns; bonus if you understand Google Ads overlap.
• Organized and dependable—able to manage multiple accounts.
• Halifax-based candidates will be prioritized, with the ability to occasionally collaborate in person at our office (1800 Argyle St).
