We are searching for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team based in Nova Scotia.

  • About the Opportunity

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department
  • Support employee relations processes, including attendance meetings and follow-up documentation
  • Review and process immigration and employment documentation, including confirmation and internal offer letters
  • Prepare employee correspondence (coaching, warning, and approved leave letters)
  • Assist with bargaining support, orientation preparation, and engagement initiatives
  • Maintain HR tracking tools and compile monthly reports using Excel and Power BI
  • About You

    In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • 1 to 3 years with a focus on Human Resources.
  • College Diploma in Human Resources, or related field.
  • Experience in human resources administration within a unionized environment.
  • Have a knowledge and ability to use computers and information technology to improve efficiency.
  • Ability to plan and carry out work according to pre-set objectives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to meet or exceed service needs and expectation and to provide excellent service in a direct and indirect manner.
  • Strong personal skills such as time management and organizational skills, critical thinking, effective oral and written communication.
