Our Human Resources leaders at Pepsi Co provide leadership and functional HR management support to field sales, warehouse and manufacturing plants at several Pepsi Co locations across North America. This Sr People Business Partner role is specific to Pepsi Co Field Sales, supporting the Atlantic teams. The ideal candidate is a People professional with strong business acumen, solid knowledge of labour relations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively resolve conflicts and collaborate at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

Strategically lead and fully execute key HR initiatives that support Pepsi Co’s vision

Key business partner to operations leaders

Design and execute talent strategies for the operations (including campus recruiting)

Partner with local teams to ensure ongoing outreach activities, including building key relationships internally and externally

Partner with leaders to build capability and manage performance

Execute key platforms of the employee and labour relations agenda, including acting as an employee advocate and supporting dispute resolution/grievance processes

Coach and guide leaders and frontline employees regarding company policies, values, HR programs and collective bargaining agreement administration and interpretation, to ensure policies and procedures are executed consistently across the operations

Partner with department leaders on performance management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans

Partner with the business to develop and execute site-level strategies to improve Organizational Health and culture

Lead and participate in Diversity, Inclusion & Equity initiatives

Understand the business and operate from both a strategic and tactical perspective

Ensure actions comply with all provincial and federal employment legislation and regulation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with focus in Industrial/Labour Relations, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or another related field preferred

Able to commute between Bedford, NS and Dartmouth, NS

Prior Human Resources generalist experience and HR Leadership experience 3-5 years

Ideal candidate has experience supporting front-line employees, in a fast-paced business with field-based client groups

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently

Previous work experience in labour relations in a unionized environment

Proven ability to establish credibility and influence as a leader within a management team and with front-line employees

Understanding of labour standards, laws, and regulations

French language is a plus
