Judge Advocate General Reserve Legal Position  The office of the Assistant Judge Advocate General is seeking applications for 3 positions with the Office of the Judge Advocate General, in the role of Reserve Deputy Judge Advocate. Candidates must be members in good standing of the Bar of any province in Canada.
These are part-time positions. The successful candidate(s) will, subject to enlistment requirements including a medical examination, be enlisted as an Officer (at the rank of Captain) within the Reserve component of the Canadian Armed Forces.
The position entails providing legal advice to various military units, located in Cape Breton, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Training will be provided, including general military training as well as legal training. Previous military experience and bilingualism, although not necessary, may be an asset.
Remuneration is based upon the rates prescribed for Officers (based on rank) within the Reserve Force for either half days or full days.
