As the Assistant Manager, you will lead the Retail Sales and Customer Service teams in a Canadian Bank branch, ensuring business strategies, initiatives and individual goals are executed to support the branch’s objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive a customer‑focused culture, deepening client relationships.
  • Build and strengthen existing and new customer relationships by providing financial advice and customer service.
  • Coach the team to success on an individual basis and for the branch.
  • Deliver results in a highly engaged manner with staff, customers and partners.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a people manager with strong team engagement.
  • Experience in personal banking.
  • Demonstrated sales management experience and ability to market Scotiabank.
  • Strong relationship building focused on client experience and growing relationships with existing Bank customers.
  • License to sell mutual funds.
  • Completion of the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning (or bank‑recognized equivalent).
  • Satisfied educational requirements to act as Alternate Branch Compliance Officer.
