Conduct site visits  and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and design intent.
Coordinate effectively  with internal disciplines and external partners, including consultants, architects, and contractors.
Perform technical reviews  and provide sound recommendations on engineering designs and reports.
Promote and uphold  ethical, professional, and regulatory standards in all aspects of electrical engineering work.
Complete quality assurance  and quality control audits to ensure designs meet company standards and best practices.
Communicate clearly and professionally  with clients, architects, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Provide ongoing mentorship,  coaching, and technical guidance to junior staff members.
Support business development  initiatives and contribute to the maintenance and growth of long-term client relationships.
What we are looking for  The ideal candidate is a seasoned Electrical Engineer with post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, and holds a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation in the Province of Nova Scotia. You bring consulting-industry experience, including engineering design coordination and multi-disciplinary project management, and possess a comprehensive understanding of current engineering principles, Canadian engineering standards, and project management best practices.

Comfortable conducting site visits and working in tools such as REVIT, you are able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. Highly analytical and detail-oriented, you exercise sound, independent judgment, excel at problem solving, and remain resilient in fast-paced or ambiguous environments. You are client-focused, results-driven, and committed to continuous learning, with exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills.

As a collaborative team player and natural leader, you take pride in mentoring and inspiring others while helping grow and strengthen a high-performing engineering team.
