Concepts in Chemistry I & Chem 1012/1022:
Concepts in Chemistry II – 1 Lecturer – Summer 2026

The Lecturer position is responsible for delivering the lecture component of the class, including assisting with test and exam management, marking, test and exam invigilation, and tutorial support as is necessary. This position reports to the Dean of the Faculty of Science through the Chair of the Department of Chemistry, for summer 2026.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

Minimum qualification for this position is a BSc Degree in Chemistry (or a related program). Experience providing support for teaching 1st-year university chemistry in the lecture environment is strongly preferred; experience providing support for teaching within the Concepts in Chemistry program is also strongly preferred.

Salary Range/Pay Rate

Per CUPE Collective Agreement
