We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Civil Project Coordinator to support the execution of civil construction projects. The successful candidate will assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating resources to ensure that project goals are met on time, on budget, and in compliance with all applicable standards.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain construction schedules and ensure key project milestones are met
Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment across active construction sites
Maintain accurate project documentation including permits, contracts, progress reports, and budgets
Serve as a communication liaison between field staff, project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
Assist in quality control and ensure construction activities meet project specifications and safety standards
Identify and support resolution of on-site or logistical issues in collaboration with internal teams
Monitor compliance with company policies, local building codes, and health & safety regulations
Prepare regular updates and reporting for senior management
Job Requirements
Language:
English
Education:
University Degree or college diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology (CET), or Engineer in Training (EIT) designation or equivalent
Experience:
Demonstrated understanding of civil construction methods and site coordination
Experience managing project documentation and supporting field operations
WHMIS, First Aid, or safety-related certifications are considered assets
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite and SharePoint is an asset
Familiarity with Civil 3D software is an asset
Must be able to work on-site and conduct site inspections as required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
