As a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Advisory, you will be focused on understanding client needs and providing project planning advice to owners and investors of infrastructure and real estate assets in both the private and public sectors. You will have the autonomy and opportunity to deliver innovative solutions to our clients and provide expert advice and support from concept and feasibility through to project construction.
Your Role
The Infrastructure Advisory team advises governments and businesses in the delivery of complex capital projects and programs. As part of our team, you'll provide financial, transaction and strategic advice on the design and delivery of a range of infrastructure projects. You will help develop program and commercial strategy approaches and improve capital asset delivery options while ensuring project success amid challenging situations.
You will work across many sectors providing services across the project life cycle from project feasibility, governance, infrastructure and procurement, construction readiness, project execution and readiness for operations.
Responsibilities
Collaborate to prepare for prospective client discovery callsMeet with prospective clients in discovery calls, understand the questions to ask and avenues to explore to inform preparation of proposalsContribute to winning proposals and participate in compelling client presentationsSet up and manage IA projects according to Colliers Project Management System, ensuring quality complianceSupport the preparation of business cases, proposals, presentations, and contributing to business developmentPerform due diligence and perform detailed analysis that will help develop comprehensive strategies and business plans in support of client investmentsApply your exceptional writing skills to prepare reports for a broad variety of assignmentsBuild on your understanding of the Canadian advisory marketplace and gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and major infrastructure projects across the countryDemonstrate adaptability and support overall delivery of IA services across our main service lines ofP3 & Transaction AdvisoryCapital Project FeasibilityProject & Program GovernanceInfrastructure Portfolio Assessment and StrategyStrategic ProcurementQualifications
University degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, Architecture or a related mix of academic and practical experienceMBA or master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an asset8+ years of experience in similar advisory role, consulting to public and private sector clientsA broad skill set including strong presentation and stakeholder facilitation, business case and report writing, organizational and analytical skillsExcellent communication and writing skillsSolid financial and general excel modeling skillsExperience in roads, transportation, buildings, and energy infrastructure is an assetExcellent verbal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interpret and compile information and effectively articulate and present findingsDemonstrated writing ability and aptitude for compiling well-thought out and concise summaries, reports and recommendations that provide outstanding value to clientsA positive outlook and demonstrate an energetic disposition with clients, along with the ability to effectively influence positive client decisionsExcellent relationship-building and collaboration skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and external industry subject matter expertsHigh level of critical thinking and problem-solving skillsPrior to applying, please review the Government of Canada security…
