Licensed Automotive Technician

Our client, an industry leader in automotive services, is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician to join their team. As a Licensed Automotive Technician, you will be part of the service department supporting vehicle maintenance and repair operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to quality workmanship, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Licensed Automotive Technician

Location: Halifax, NS

Pay Range: $34-$40 per hour

Shift: Days

What's the Job?

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Utilize flat rate system based on experience to complete units efficiently
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed
• Collaborate with team members to uphold quality standards and customer satisfaction

What's Needed?

• Valid Red Seal Automotive Technician certification
• Experience working in an automotive repair environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
