We are seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to provide support to our community-based client in Halifax. This contract role offers 25 hours per week (Monday through Friday), and involves providing administrative and customer support, responding to phone and email inquiries, and assisting with project-related tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Respond to phone and email inquiries regarding the survey in a professional and courteous manner
  • Log inquiries and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes
  • Coordinate requests for printed or translated materials and support internal mailouts as required
  • Assist the Project Coordinator with preparation of materials for partners and other general administrative tasks

Experience & Attributes for Success:

  • Previous experience in a call centre, administrative, or customer support environment
  • A passion for, or strong interest in, delivering top-tier customer service
  • Comfortable working at a desk answering calls and emails for extended periods
  • Courteous, patient, and professional communication skills
  • Familiarity with diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles
