Location: Hailsham, East Sussex (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: 50,000 - 70,000 (DOE)

An established and well-respected accountancy firm in Hailsham is looking to recruit a Senior Manager to join their growing team. This is a pivotal role for an experienced and commercially astute accounting professional who is ready to take on greater responsibility and support the continued development of a thriving firm.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality client service, keen to work with a varied portfolio and help drive the practice forward.

• Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
• Oversee preparation and review of accounts, tax returns, and other compliance work.
• Lead, support, and mentor a team of staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and contribute to business growth.
• Work closely with partners on strategic planning and client relationship management.
• Ensure all client work is completed accurately, on time, and within budget.

• ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience managing a varied client portfolio in practice.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge of accounts and tax compliance.
• Confident, commercially minded, and client-focused.
• Proficient in using cloud-based accountancy software (Xero, Quick Books, etc.).
